Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Oops

Good morning.  It is a little cooler this morning, with a hint of rain - we surely could use a good rain today.

Day 709 of MNTY - Today, I will remember that I am not perfect - not even close.  The failures and defects of others only serve to remind me of my own and help me be prayerful, and careful, and thankful.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  We took the boys home last evening so today is rest and then some cleaning up after them.  Depending on the weather, I may finish draining and cleaning Alicia's pool.  Getting an early start this year!

Yesterday was a good day.  But I was dead dog tired when I went to bed.  Church, helping Jeff move and helping with the boys - a full day for sure.

D-NOTES

Psalm 79:13 - So we thy people and the sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever:  we will show forth thy praise to all generations.

Proverbs 16:6 - By mercy and truth iniquity is purged:  and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.

The Bible in One Year - I Chronicles 7-9

In Touch (with Charles Stanley) - "What Is Your True Purpose?"  (Read Samuel 16:6-13)  Our heavenly Father's purpose for our lives comes from His heart of love - which is perfect.  None of us can foretell the great things He has in store for us, but we can trust his plan completely.  Surrender to Him today and say, "Not my will, Lord, but Your will be done."

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Praying for KK.  (2) Thank God, I can't afford them!  (3) To live free, I must be free.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

Not my will, Thine be done!
