Good morning - it is a wet start to our Good Friday! Slept soundly and woke up rested and ready. Ready for anything, expecting nothing, thankful for everything.
Day 1437 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember The Cross was not a tragdy but a triumph. It was the picture of man great gore and God's great Grace. It is our common ground.
Today is MMM and then a lot of work in the back room. Got to get it done today - rain or shine, boys or no boys! Doris is picking up the boys at noon. It is going to be a full day. Good Friday service tonight at 6:30 - guess we will have to take the boys with us.
Yesterday was a good day. Worked, went to the gym (saw Nevitt there), went to Cooleys for dinner. It was a good evening, they leave this coming Thursday morning.
Tomorrow will be another full day of getting things done around the house and yard. Getting ready for Easter Sunday and dinner here with the Cooleys. Jeff is supposed to be home this weekend so he will have the boys - I think. Doris and Marylee (and maybe Ray and I) are going to see a movie. But I may be way to busy here.
A great three day weekend ahead!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Oh the love that drew salvation's plan
Oh the Grace that brought it down to man!
Oh the mighty gulf that God did span
At Calvary!
Mercy there was great and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty,
At Calvary.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
