Monday, April 14, 2014

Good morning.  It is Monday!  I want to stay in bed and call in sick.  But I will not.  We got a little rain last night, not nearly enough but we are heading into the wet season (summer).  I am sure it going to be a beautiful morning!

Day 1432 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that I can remember, rejoice in, and/or regret yesterday;  I can anticipate, plan for,and hope in tomorrow;  but I have only today to live.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Kelli is bringing the boys this morning about 9:00.  Plan to go to the gym after work and then to get some mowing done.  Way to much to do this week to put anything off. Got to Git-r-done!

Yesterday was a good day.  Church in the morning and rested most of the rest of the day.Doris went to the fruit market and we had yellow, green, white, and red vegetables for dinner - with ur red meat!

Tomorrow is Tuesday, my short work week will be half over at the end of the day.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 69:2030,31 - Reproach has broken my heart; and I am full of sorrow:  I looked for someone to take pity, but there was no one:  and for comforters, but found none.  Let thy salvation, O God, set me on high,  I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Proverbs 14:2 - He that walks in his uprightness fears the Lord:  but he that is perverse in his ways despises him.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - II Samuel 10-12

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "No Credibility Gaps" (Read romans 4:21)  We breadk our promises to each other.  We break our promises to God.  But God never breaks His pomises to us.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)I keep my balance by staying as close to center as I can - the center of God's will for my life.  (2)  I can not afford to spent my meager resourses on the maintennance of resentments.  (3) Have a great summer, Andy and Rick - we will miss you.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
