Good Afternoon - it is hot! I love it!
Plugged my CPU back in and am hoping that I can use it again - but I am not expecting too much. I still get a note in the lower left corner telling me that it is not windows is not a genuine copy - whatever that means. Still not booting up as it is supposed too - have to go through a lot just to get it up and running. The first time I have any trouble with it, I am going to throw it off the top of the Roosevelt Bridge!!!
Day 1479 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember too put down my weapons and pick up my tools!
Today was Church and enjoying a quiet afternoon at home watching the Indy 500. No boys until Wednesday. Doris went to Walmart and I am now watching the Cubs - they have a chance to win their first road series of the year! Did a little cleaning and will do a little more, maybe. Had pot-roast or dinner - used a Campbell's Slow-cooker sauce - will not do that again. Wanted to go to the beach, but did not - maybe tomorrow?
Yesterday was a good day. Spent the whole day with the boys - they kept me busy trying to keep them busy. Kelli cut our (mine and Doris') hair when she picked up the boys about 7:00. I liked mine, Doris did not like hers so much - but she has never gotten a haircut she liked. It is short, but will grow out before she goes back to Indiana in July. Got the yard mowed and the van cleaned out - I will never clean out the van for Doris again. She complained about what I did, and what I did not do - not one thank you!
Tomorrow is Memorial Day - am off work (unpaid) and have no plans. May clean out the Expo and wash the van (one last time) for Doris. Still need to do some work on the back door and really need to clean up in the back room. There is always plenty of housework and yard work to do too. Will try to stay out of Doris' way. Hoping that Alicia, Kara, and Zack will come over sometime.
It has been a good day!
