Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Thursday, July 31, 2014

Good morning.  It is the last day of July, 2014!  And it is the first day of school for my grand kids in Georgia.

Day 1544 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that the secret of practicing righteousness is practicing righteousness in secret. (Pastor Whitney)

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Alicia is picking up the dogs this afternoon, so I will try to get some house cleaning done tonight so that this weekend I can work on the yard.  I will get an alternator belt for the Expo on the way home from the gym afterwork.  Hope to get it on soon, just thinking about it and getting 'ready' to do it now.

Yesterday was a good day.  Doris called and her mom is still in the hospital and improved some but still is serious condition.

Tomorrow is Friday, hope to get a good start on the weekend's work.  It just take me so long to get anything done - mostly because it take me so long to get started!

Monday is Jury Duty!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 119:37 - Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity: and quicken thou me in thy way. ( NKJV - Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way. )

Proverbs 31:30 - Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:  but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Song of Solomon 1 - 8

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) LBB - It is not the experience of today but the remorse or bitterness for something which happened yesterday, or the dread of what tomorrow may bring that robs us of our serenity.  (2) RFX - By accepting life as it is, I gain serenity.  By taking action, I gain courage and I thank God for the ability to distinguish between those situations I can work on, and those I must turn over.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"The Left Hand - Seeking our reward from God, rather than the reward from man.   Better yet, seeking NO reward!"
( Matthew 6:3 )
