Good morning. Up early, but did hit the snooze once. Trying to maintain my normal schedule but being by yourself is not the easiest place to be. Self discipline is harder when you are by yourself. It is a beautiful morning but seems to be a little noisier with only me in he house - maybe i am just hearing more of this modern worlds background noise.
Day 1542 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember make a list, to measure and motivate my progress! But to keep the list short!
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. Today we should know a lot more about how Rosemary is doing. She was still pretty much out of it yesterday. I will go to the gym again today and then try to get some work done in the house - getting ready for Doris and her family's visit. I can do it ahead of time now that there is only me here to mess things up - and I will not, not once I have had to clean it up.
Yesterday was a good day. Worked, went to the gym, cared for the dogs - really not much else. Put some gas in the van on the way home from the gym - Doris is letting me drive it, but left it on empty. Went to sleep watching "Major Crimes" - will catch it again next week.
Tomorrow is "Busyday" - A & E early with AJ, dollar day at the Store, and then Church in the evening.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 142:6 - Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
Proverbs 29:18 - Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Eccl 5 - 8
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "By Faith" ( For we walk by faith, not by sight. - II Cor. 5:7 ) Faith turns times of testing into times of trusting.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) I cannot hope for a better past, but I can have a better present. (2) I've never had it so good! (3) The spirit of forgiveness in not the act of forgiveness. And sometimes it is not ours to forgive, but we can still have a forgiving spirit. ( Congratulation, Kristen, on 90 day - we are so glad for you!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
