Good morning. Two years ago today I lost my Pastor, Dan Holland. Two years ago today I lost my best friend, Dan Holland. He was a good shepherd. He fed me, he led me, he stood by my side, he pushed me along, and the sometimes carried. I miss him!
Day 1558 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today I remember, and it hurts. But I rejoice and it helps.
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. After work I pick up Doris and Jean in Lake Wales. That is, if nothing has changed - haven't heard, she was supposed to call, but did not. Anyway, everything is ready.
Yesterday was a good day. Finished washing the bed clothes and cleaning up the living room. Went to church. Found some old bacon in the refrigerator and cooked it - probably should have thrown it away but it did not kill me, yet!
Tomorrow I am off. I will keep busy with yard work. Still need to replace the alternator belt on the Expo - so much to do - maybe tomorrow!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 68:5,6 - A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Proverbs 14:4 - Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Jeremiah 1-3
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Feeling Needy Is Normal" ( I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing. - John 15:5 ) If You feel the need for God in you life, that is exactly how you are supposed to feel. You were never intended to do life on your own.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Congratulations Chris, on 10 years! (2) Just one of God's kids!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
