My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Sunday, October 19, 2014

Good morning.  It is a beautiful morning, just like yesterday.  Tomorrow afternoon we (Alicia, Kara, Zach and I) leave for Ohio and the next chapter in their, and our, lives!  Sad and happy!

Day 1624 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to 'live' each day for that day.

Today is church.  After church I need to double check that everything that I needed to do got done.  Doris is fixing pork chop for dinner.  Will check in on Alicia after church to see how the loading is going.  I will spend the rest of the afternoon/evening clearing my desk - in case I do not make it back.

Yesterday I got the yard mowed and a haircut.  I went to the gym too and did a little more than I had been doing.  Alicia came over and we  loaded up what she had left here.  I gave her my new hammer drill - I am sure she will put it to good use.

Tomorrow we will leave around noon, will try to get out of Florida before we stop for the night.  We are looking froward to the trip - hope to get to see a lot of fall color.  Temps will be in the mid to low 50s for in Elyria this week.

I may not get online again for a week or so, but I will still post to FB from my phone along the way @ michaelnstuart.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 95:6,7 - Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.  For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep under His care.

Proverbs 19:3 - The foolishness of a man twists his way, and his heart frets against the Lord.  He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will find good.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Mark 14,15

My note on "THE SUNDAY SERMON"

Pastor Phillip is away so Pastor Whitney brought the message this morning.  He preached on Psalm 1.

"Those Who Prosper and Those Who Perish!"

It is not where he sat or where he walked or where he stood, but it was where his delight was!

The Righteous - "Whatever" he does prospers
The Wicked - Not so!

The Righteous - Yield fruit (in his season)
The wicked - Not so, but is driven way (like the chaff)

The Righteous - Are on a Known Way
The Wicked - Are on a Perishing Way

It is not what we Do Not Do that make us righteous, but what He Has Done for those who Delight in Him.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
