My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  It is Friday!  And it is a beautiful morning.  Up early, rested well, feel good, chores done - but getting a late start here.  It will be warmer today, cloudy with a slight chance of rain.

Day 1658 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that when I borrow trouble, I have to pay back with interest.  Today I will live with in my day, I will not do not borrow from tomorrow.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Should have a full crew at the store today, should.  It was Jeff's day off and Angel call out.  Theresa left early to go to the doctor.  I work a little later - could not leave Rosa alone.  Gym after work.

Yesterday was a good day anyway!  Came home after work before I went to the gym.  On the way to the gym I dropped off some packing boxes at the Cooley's place.  It was dark when I got home.  Doris bought here a new crockpot and will give her old one to Kelli if she wants it.  I was going to get it for her for Christmas, but she wanted it now.  She is cooking less and getting more to do less with.

Tomorrow Saturday, so much to do, and so glad to have a day to do it.

The little boys will be here Tuesday evening - making plans to take them to the park and to the forest and to feed the ducks and to walk around the block and hug them a lot.  And to spend some time just watching and listening and loving them.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 101:6 - My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in blameless way , he shall serve me.

Proverbs 21:28 - A false witness shall perish, but the man who hears him will speak endlessly.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Romans 8 - 10

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Forgotten, But Not Forgotten"  ( Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him. - Genesis 40:23 ) Problems patiently endured will work for our spiritual perfecting - (A. W. Tozer).   To wait means to pause and soberly consider our own inadequacy and the Lord's inexaustibility.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) I am comfortable when I am trusting God.  Let others see that I am comfortable.  (2) I think that one of the great advantages of my faith in God is that I do not understand my God.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
