Good morning. Mornings just do not get any prettier than this! I just want to sit on the back patio and enjoy every moment - but, it is church first. Days like today are why there is a Snowbird Season! And why we stay!
Day 1653 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at at time. And I want to savor every minute of this day!
Today is Church. Doris has a potroast in the crock pot. After dinner I am going to work on the front flower bed - needs a fall makeover. Church this evening. Need to ask about "HAITI TEAM '15" plans and schedules. So looking forward to our trip and finishing the work in Dugay. Hope to get to make a short vistit to Leogone too. Wish I had a hundred years to work in Haiti - would love to see it transformed by the Grace of God into a true witnes of the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Yesterday was a good day. Got my mower fixed and got a lot of work done in the yard. A much better day.
Tomorrow is back to work - but I have had a good weekend. I really think I should just work 4 days a week. got to pray about that. Should be a good week - last full week before Thanksgiving.

My Notes on "THE SUNDAY SERMON"
Ushered again today - I am just not cut out to be an usher, or our church is just not a church cut out to be ushered! I give up, but will fulfil my commitment for the month. People act as though they were at a ballgame or concert and I just do not have the flexibility or 'patience' to do a good job.
