Good morning. Up early, enjoying the quiet, listening to the trains. It is not raining, and it is not as cold as forecast - if you can't trust your weather man, who can you trust? (Just getting ahead of my self - it is raining now and cooling off too.)
Day 1655 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that 'forecasts' are based of "past performance" - they do not always account for the "Unknown" in our lives.
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. Almost got caught up from being gone Friday. It will take me all week to really catch up. Kenny was a big help. Rosa will be gone today, but Teresa will be back. Someone is gone every day and it makes it hard to catch up. Gym after work and then I have got to spend some more time on my desk area and the back room.
Yesterday was a good day. After I got home from the gym, we went to GC for their Veterans Appreciation Dinner. I enjoyed being a part of something big. I was impressed by the graciousness of the staff and the respect shown by all, to all! Liked seeing the young men and women in uniform (JROTC).
Tomorrow is Wednesday, getting ready to go over the hump! It is always a long day, well it seems longer anyway - just active earlier and later.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 86:3-5 - Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to You all day long, rejoice the soul of Your servant, for to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.
Proverbs 18:1 - A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; he rages against all wise judgment.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Acts 26 - 28
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Belated Rewards" ( Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come. Habakkuk 2:3 ) Though it may seem overdue, righteousness is always rewarded. Don't be impatient with God. He will never forget to reward your efforts for Him. "The waiting itself is beneficial to us: it tries faith, exercises patience, trains submission, and endears the blessing when it comes." - CHS
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Procastination is the thief of time. (2) Just do it; and just do it now! (3) I scream and stomp and then I resume prayer when I quiet down. (4) Be a proactivator not procastinator!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
