Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Wednesday, November 5, 2014

Good morning.  Still warm and cloudy - rained briefly just after I got up. Clearing now and it is going to be a beautiful day,  I slept well but my ribs still hurt and I am all stuffed up for some reason.  Nothing to complain about - but I do make mention of it for the record.

Day 1641 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that when we confess and forsake our sin, He is faithful and just ( He will because he can - the price has been paid) to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  His forgiveness includes His forgetfulness.  When we confess "I did it again," He says, "Did what again?"

Today is A & E with AJ and work at the Family Store.  It is the first Wednesday of the month - blue goes on sale - should be a busy day.  Hopefully we will have a full crew.  Gym after work and then church.  May not get any work done on the back patio tonight - I have decided to redo them anyway. Church tonight and our first general meeting on "Haiti 2015" after the Bible Study.  The dates are February 8 - 15.

Yesterday was a god day.  We were a man (boy) short at work so I had to do his work too.  It so unfair, but I am the one who is being called 'unfair'!  But -- the elections went well, our way anyway!
So glad the the majority of Americans did not blame the gridlock in congress on the minority party.

Tomorrow is Thursday - cleaning up after Wednesday, getting ready for Friday.  Have to work Saturday - long week and short weekend.  But I will have next Friday off making for a long weekend.

My Georgia Boys will be here three weeks from today!  YooHoo!!!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 21:13 - Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength!  We will sing and praise Your power.

Proverbs 5:1,2 - My son, pay attention to my wisdom; lend your ear to my understanding, that you may preserve discretion, and your lips may keep knowledge.

Bible Pathways (Reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - John 11,12

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Character Counts"  ( And [God] said, "Your name shall not longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed. - Genesis 32:28 )  If God ascribed a name to you, based on character, what would it be?

A & E @ McD - We are thankful for daylight and cooler temps.  Looking forward to our missions trip to Haiti in February.  AJ is also going to a Jamaica sometime soon.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"Rejoice,
inasmuch as ye are partakers
 of Christ's sufferings."
