Good morning. It is a beautiful morning. I expected to see the Orien launch this morning but could not see it - either too cloudy or I could not determine its tragectory. I will see it on the news tonight. Wet and warm this morning - rained last evening and some through the night.
Day 1671 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that will-power is less like wieding a sledge hammer and more like a willingness to follow the suggestions of those who have traveled the same path.
Today is a busy morning - getting thing ready for the delivery of a washer and dryer from the Family Store. After work I will come home and hook them up. Later we are going over to the Cooleys to finish packing up the kitchen and bathroom - jus a few things Doris could not reach. I will go over and see their new place - I have not been in it yet. Still a lot of packing to do. I will need to get some more boxes today.
Yesterday was a good day. Still have not been to the gym this week - busy and not wanting to hurt my back. Though I think maybe it would help more than hurt.
Tomorrow I have to work so that I can have a three day weekend next week to get Cooleys moved. Glad for some promised help. Need to arrange for a truck Monday.
Looking ahead - Leaving noon the 20th to go see the Georgia boys and celebrate Payton's 4th Birthday!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 22:11 - (Prophetic Psalm of the Crucifixtion) Be not far from Me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
Proverbs 5:21,22 - For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his paths. His own iniquities entrap the wicked man, and he is caught in the cords of his sin.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Philippians 1 - 4
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "That About Wraps It Up" ( For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus. - Phillipians 2:21 ) When we are wrapped up in our own affairs, it is a sign we are not as Spirit-filled as we should be, and we are not being the blessing we could be. Let us not be like "all the others." Let us be Timothys -- all wrapped up in Jesus.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) LBB - Give according to need never according to deserts! (2) RFX - A "Spiritual Awakening" is the awakening of the spirit! It is not as sensational as it is serene - a regaining of sanity!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
