Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Almost cold this morning - had to put on a t-shirt!  But dry, clear and sunny.  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 1674 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that often the difference between success and failure is building bridges rather than burning them.

Today is a busy day.  This evening is the Men's Christmas BBQ - wild hog - at the ranch in Palm City.  Have to be at the church at 5:00.  Doris is going to do some more work at the Cooleys'.

Yesterday was a good day.  After work we went to Lowe's to get some packing tape and then took some plastic bins for packing over the the condo.  And we stopped and reserved a truck for Friday night - will pick it up at 4:30 - just before we leave to pick up Doug in Orlando.  It is sometime hard to plan ahead, and live one day at a time.  Havn't quite figured that out yet!

Tomorrow is Wednesday,  another busy day - I don't know how I got so busy and do not seem to get very much done.  I really need a vacation - on the white sands of a beautiful island in the Caribbean.

Going to see my Georgia boys in 10 days!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 42:11 - Why are you cast down, O my soul/  And why are you disquieted within me"  Hope in God; for I shall yest praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.

Proverbs 9:11 - For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - I Timothy 1 - 6

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Delighting in God's Will"  ( I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart." - Psalm 40:8 )  Just as Jesus found delight and contentment in fulfilling God's will for His life, so we can find that same contentment in our life as we trust His Spirit to guide us.

MMM - just some thoughts:

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"We lost a good friend and a faithful servant, Karen Clarke, yesterday to cancer.  She made our transition to Florida life so much easier.  She was so faithful to her family, her friends, and her Father.  We love you and your family, thanks for your love to us and our family.
