Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart

I took this picture on my first Missions Trip in 2005 in London!
A lot different then Haiti!
Good morning,  Hit the snooze once before getting up.  I guess I did not hurt enough to want to get up.  That is probably a good thing gone bad.  I keep telling myself that I have to get up earlier so that I am not so rushed in the morning.  But if I am up, I am doing and not being anyway.

Day 1727 - Living "MNTY" one day at a time.  And then , I proceed to talk about yesterday and tomorrow!  I could rationalize here but I will not.  Well maybe a little - Today is mared a little by yesterday and maded a little more hopeful by tomorrow.

Having said the, today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Before work I will have blood drawn for my blood work at the VA.  After work we are meeting Ray and Marylee at Walmart to help them with a TV stand - I will haul it their house and put it together for them.  Maybe go out to eat afterward.  Had planned to mow the yard - but I can to that "tomorrow."

Yesterday was a good day.  Working a little each evening on getting things ready for Haiti and trying to get my desk/computer area cleaned an organized just in case I do not make it back.

Tomorrow is Saturday, I will try to get the yard mowed in the morning and then will spend the afternoon and evening with Ray while Doris and Marylee go to the "Collingworth Concert" at Hobe Sound.

Talked to the boys (Payton, Dakota would not talk to us) last night.  We will see them in March.  I asked Payton what he wanted to do when they come and he said "play."  Dakota is still having a problem at school, but it will work out.  He is a really stubborn boy!  Wonder where he gets that?

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!

Psalm 146:3 - Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

Proverbs 30:22 - An angry man stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgression.

The Word Alive in 1 - 5  (Reading Exodus 38,39) - Our "knowledge" is always "relational" in its fullness.

From "Knowing God" by J. I. Packer:  Our "knowledge" of God is expressed in and understood by our "relationship" to Him.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Praying for Jay!  (2) Welcome back Andy!  (3) Congratulation, Mike on 90 Days.  (4) It is in serenity and peace that success lies.  (5) Find a friend...be a friend.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

Trust Him,  Admire Him.  Follow Him.  For "in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3).
(John Piper in "Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ")
