Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart

My home for a week in 2013 during our construction of the Church at Dugay!
Good morning.  Up with the alarm, slept well, feel good.  Cooler, drier this morning.

Day 1712 - Living "MNTY" one day at a time. Today, I will re-member that His control means nothing until His care mean everything.

Today is MMM and work at the FS.  Just have to get thru today and I will have a three day weekend.  I hope  that  Snake Road comes and get the Expo today too.  I really, really, really need a good day today.

Yesterday was a good day.  Well, I did not drink over it and did hurt or kill anyone - and I did not quit, yet!  Went to Bible Study - Phillip is teaching "What the Bible Says...About Sovereignty!"  Good teaching but too long, he has got to break it down in to smaller bites.  I would like to here a discussion on "Sovereignty and Intercessory Prayer!"  We can not listen as long as he can talk!  Doris and Jean shopped all day.  Marv tagged along.

Off tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.  Planning on taking a "river cruise" tomorrow or Saturday.  Arleen and Joe's "winter party" is Sunday afternoon - not sure if we (or just I) are going but have to let her know for sure by Friday.

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!

Psalm 66:20 - Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!

Proverbs 15:1 - A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.  The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.

The Word is Alive in 1 - 5  (Reading Genesis 43-45)  Don't wait until difficulty it past to praise God!

From "Knowing God" by J. I. Packer:  Knowing vs Knowing About - A little knowledge of God is worth more than a great deal of knowledge about Him.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Praying for Jay - bypass surgery!  (2) Prayer plug us into the outlet!  (3) I always have a choice, sometime I just need to plug in power to make the choice.  (4) The truth is a paradox.  (5) Listening is an activity!  (6) When we stop making good choices, bad choices begin to look good.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

It is not Glorious to be Gloomy.  Neither is it Glorious to be Glib.  Joy is acquainted with sorrow!
