Good morning. Up early, chores done, almost ready for the day. Cloudy this morning, rain today is a sure thing. But warm (hot) and the rain will be scattered. Not much sun until the weekend.
Day 1807 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember
Today is MMM and work at the FS. Then the gym for sure - beginning to do more with my arm but still careful. Now that we have the paint and supplies, just waiting for some good weather to get started painting the house. Doris is going out to lunch with Marylee today - they are leaving a week from today.
Yesterday was a good day. Ordered my new glasses and at a reasonable (comparatively) price. Doris talked me into a more expensive frame - I was going to get the $9 frames which would have saved men over $50 dollars (a days wages)! And I got my new passport photo at Walgreens. Doris will mail the renewal form in today.
Tomorrow is Wednesday - meeting AJ and Reggie at the McD in PC for our A&E. Dollar Day at the Store and Bible Study in the evening.
Men's Conference begins Friday evening and goes thru Saturday noon this weekend. Wild game dinner Friday night - hog, bear, deer, gator, and ????!
MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!
Psalm 104:34 - My meditation of Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.
Proverbs 21:23 - Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.
The Word Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading I Kings 1 - 2:25)
Morning and Evening (with Charles H. Spurgeon) - Ifs and buts are sure murderers of peace and comfort. I knows and joy unspeakable! (Job 19:25)
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Gratitude to God for His grace make us humble! (2) Practice does NOT make prefect, but it does make progress.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
