My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Another beautiful morning.  Chores all done, working on my second cup of coffee.  Figured out (in my head) what I am going to do about lowering the front awnings.  Already been a good day.

Day 1840 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember the the more I realize how much we all are alike, the more I can tolerate our differences.

Today is work at the Family Store and the gym after work. Will probably have to work all day - it will be just Teresa and I.   Then I will work some more on the trimming - almost done - well all the easy stuff is done.  I must be more careful, I do not want to cut my leg off or fall and break my neck!

Yesterday was a good day.  On the register all day at work.  Went to the gym.  Worked on the trimming.  Took an IB8 and went to bed.

I have to work tomorrow for Jeff.  But am off (without pay) Monday!  More yard work and painting!

I need a vacation,  I need money for a vacation!  Just grateful that I am able to work and keep things even.

Haven't heard from Jeff or Alica.  Jeff sent pictures of the boys sitting on the steps of his truck.  Brook and Bry graduate from HS a week from tomorrow.  Brooks baby is due in August, I think.

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!

Psalm 110:1 - The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Proverbs  22:15 - Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child (the childish); but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

The Word Alive in 1 - 5  (Reading II Chronicles 4-6)

Morning & Evening (with Spurgeon) - "The Lord will prefect that which concerns me" (Psm 138:8)  Our confidence must not be in what we have done, but in what He is doing.

MMM - just some thoughts;  (1) LBB - When we get it off our chest, we get it off our back!
(2) RFX - Look for opportunities, for God to show His omnipotence!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"We can never be too confident
when we confide in Him alone!"
