Good morning! It is the first day of June, a new month, the beginning of a new work week, and it is a beautiful morning. Up a little later this morning but getting around a little quicker. Feeling good - I was off my feet almost all weekend. I had good reasons to rest and relax and just let it happen.
Day 1850 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today I will remember to do all I can and to 'can' the rest.
Today is MMM and work at the FS. Teresa is off this week and I am back in the back. There is so much to catch up on - no one did 'my' work while I did Jeff's work last week. Going to the Gym (LAF) after work - haven't been for a week. Then I have to do some painting - I can't leave it all or Doris to do! Still working on trimming up the 'fence' rows so I can mow.
Yesterday was a good day. Went to church in the morning and did a little, very little, trimming. Painted a sample spot on the side porch to see if we liked the color - it is not as red as we want but is not bad. Thought about all that I needed to do, still thinking about it!
Saturday we went to to the Girls graduations - left about 10:00 and got home about 10:00 - it was a good day - enjoyed seeing all the kids. Brooks baby shower is next Saturday. Kelli and Doris plan to go.
Tomorrow I will do more working and less thinking, maybe.
This week we are getting ready for the boys and Kelli. The should be here late Friday.
MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!
Psalm 1:6 - For the knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly will perish.
Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The Word Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading Ezra 1,2)
Morning & Evening (with Spurgeon) - There is beauty in both the sunrise and the sunset; the night is as useful as the day; continue your service in under all changes.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) I was supposed to open this morning but I forgot. (2) Rosemary is back! (3) I chaired. (4) It gets better!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
