Good morning. Up earlier than ususal, before 5:00. But slept well and am feeling rested. My sholder is a little sore - I stressed it a little too much last night trimming the bushes along the back of the house - getting ready to paint. I am at 156.9 lbs on my way to 155. I weigh a bout 2 lbs lighter at the gym but I will use our home scale as the "official" scale. It is a typical early summer morning in South Florida - still, warm, humid, partly cloudy - it is a beautiful morning!
Day 1868 - Living "My Next Thirty(?) Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember to not let my resentments bury me.
Today is MMM and work at the FS. After work I will mow and maybe do some painting. We may go out for dinner to CB. Getting a head start on our weekend.
Yesterday was a good day. But every thing was not what we had hopd - Doris was diagnosed with cancer! She will have to have surgery soon. We have a lot on our minds but are experiencing the human condition and trusting the Holy Comforter. Living by Faith!
We will spend tomorrow working on the painting - Doris want to get it finished before she has her surgery!
We probably will not got to go see the Boys on the Fourth - with the surgery and treatment we will not have the time, and with the added expence we certainly will not have the money. Even the co-pays are way more than we can afford - but God knows that, He will work it out in His own way, according to His own will! I really believe that and have been living it for a long time. And I am happy to do it His way.
MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!
Psalm 91:1 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Proverbs 19:20 - Hear counsel, and receive instruction that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
The Word Alive in 1 - 5 (Job 17 - 20)
Morning & Evening with Spurgeon - (Acts 2:4 - "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost") Pray to God that we might feel His presence this day and every day.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) It took what it took! (2) ...reasonably happy and useful life. (3) The material thing I need most is that which helps me grow spiritually. (4) The choice is ours - each of day, everyday!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
