Good morning. Rained all night and expect it to continue most of the day. It has been a good rainy season with just enough rain to keep everything green and growing, and growing and growing. Means I have to keep mowing and mowing and mowing. Just walked the fence rows and looks like I need to do a lot of trimming and trimming and trimming. It is a beautiful morning.
Day 2058 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that we spend our youth trying to get rich and when we are old we spend our riches trying to regain our youth.
Today is A & E with AJ and work at the Family Store. Prayer meeting tonight. I will try to get the back yard mowed this evening if it dries up. If not, I will go to the gym after work - trying to get back in working out at least 3 - 4 times a week.
Doris is feeling good this morning. She seems to be tolerating the chemo well - at least so far. We are thankful for that. She plans to run some errands and go to Walmart today. We have Cooleys car for now. We will make sure it is clean inside and out and gased up when we take it back to them next week - they will be here on the 28th.
Yesterday was a good day. Everything went well with Doris's chemo. I went to the gym after we got home. And then I mowed the front yard when I got home. The church was supposed to provide our dinner, but no one showed up so we ate left overs - they were good and we were thankful. I do not think we will have the church provide meals for us anymore - we do not need them and I just do not want to be disappointed any more. No expectations, no disappointments!
Tomorrow is my last day of work before my three-day weekend. My "to do" list is already on page 2! Painting and awnings are at the top of the list. Beach and sun are at the bottom!
Boys will be here soon, and when they get here we may have a chance to go see their neice and our great-granddaughter, Serenity.

Mike
