Good morning. It is Coooold! Well, for South Florida, anyway! But clear and dry. We will have no problem keeping cool today. It is our first cool weather of the season and is a welcome relief. We know it will not last long and we will not need coats and boots.
Day 2127 - Living, "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember to add a little humility to the "soup of the day!"
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. I need a meeting - I know what I am going to face at work after a three day weekend! I must remember that the only thing I can change is my attitude. Doris has her chemo today. We are using Cooley's car today. Working on getting my car fixed soon.
Yesterday was a good day. Went to church in the morning and rested most of the day. I did get the Mazda clean out - it was so messy that I was ashamed to even take it to the mechanic. I just need it to get us thru till Doris' chemo is done just before Christmas.
Tomorrow is another day. No plans but a lot of hopes. Doris is going out with Marylee to run some errands and have lunch (it has been there time of A & E). Still on two wheels so no gym but getting my exercise anyway.
Thanksgiving is Thursday, will will miss not having the little boys here but maybe a Christmas? We will go out with Ray and Marylee for dinner. I have Thursday and Friday off - so a FOUR-DAY weekend coming up!!!
It is interesting seeing how God protects and provides as "life" happens!
MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR!
Psalm 111:7 - The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are sure.
Proverbs 23:17 - Let not your heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the lord all the day long.
The Word Alive in 1 - 5 (Reading Romans 14-16)
Morning & Evening (with Charles Spurgeon) - "Fellowship with Him" (I John 1:6) Our meat and drink , like His, is to do the will of Him who has sent us to finish His work.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) I pray that I may not fear the power of failure. (2) I am my Dad! (3) Setting higher goals enables us to progress.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
