Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Thursday, Novermber 12, 2015

Good morning.  I have been waking up at 4:30 since the time change - guess I will just start getting up when I wake up!  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 2116 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to be more tolerant with myself (then maybe I can be more tolerant with others?).

Today is MMM, I really need a meeting, and work at the Family Store, I really need a vacation!  Haven't gotten to the gym yet this week - hope to today.  Nothing else planned, yet.

Yesterday was a good day - well at least I did not drink over it!  The fault is not mine but the cause (my reaction) is my fault.  I will work on that today.

Tomorrow I have to go to traffic court to defend myself against a "failure to yeild" ticket that resulted in my totaling our van.  I am only contesting the ticket because the police officer said he would ask the judge to be lenient.  We will see!  I was NOT at fault, though my actions did cause the accident.

Have to work Saturday - ugh!!!

MY RUDDER AND ANCHOR

Psalm 56:13 - Tor Thou has delivered my soul from death:  wilt not Thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

Proverbs 12:5 - The thoughts of the righteous are right;  but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

The Word Alive in 1 - 5  (Reading Acts 9,10)  In today's reading:  The conversion of Saul; Dorcas raised from the dead; Peter's vision; The Gentiles receive the Holy Spirit.

Morning and Evening ( with Charles Spurgeon)  "... That thee trial of you faith ...  (I Peter 1:7)  Faith increases in solidity, assurance, and intensity the more it is exercised with tribulation.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)  I open Saturday!  (2) ... in the context of the day at hand.  (3) Few make mistakes on purpose.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
