Good Morning, TGIF!!!
Up earlier but still need to be up even earlier - my mind was awake at 4:30 but my body was still refused to through back the covers. Cooler this morning, but dry (and windy). It is a beautiful day. I hope our "winter" is over. The Farmer's Almanac predicted a cooler and wetter winter - right again.
Day 2191 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember I cannot always re-pay, but I can always pre-pay!
Today is MMM and work at the FS. It has been a busy week with drs appts, and nasty weather. It is what it is. Hope to get to the gym this afternoon and then we need to make a run to Walmart and then maybe to LJS for dinner (we have coupons). Maybe buy the family meal and bring it home - I just do not like to eat there - too noisy, dirty, and cold.
Yesterday was a good day. And a busy day - but made it through. Had my annual "medicare physical' and all is well - for a man of my age. Not much of a physical - I can take my own BP and listen to my heart!
Tomorrow The weather is suposed to be better. I want to get some yard work done if it dries out enough.
Had another "Missions Team "16" meeting last evening. Everything is getting firmed up - will get the tickets this next week. Next meeting of the team is Feb 4 with the director of the mission work, Ron Maggard. We will be in the mountains of central Guatemala working in several villages with the Indians. We will mainly be acting as a survey team for future ministry as we work along those already involved in the work there.
We may have the boys for three weeks this summer! Jeff wants to take Kelli on a cross country run with him. I do not know if I can stand the boys for three whole weeks but I will enjoy trying.
"TIL THE STORM PASSES OVER!"
Psalm 141:3 - Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips
Proverbs 29:1 - He that being often repoved hardeneth his neck, shall suddendly be destroyed, and that without remedy
Lean on the Word in Sixteen - (Reading Exodus 35-37)
Hope for Each Day (with Billy Graham) "Glorious Responsibilities" If anyone will serve Me, him My Father will honor. (John 12:26). Christ's call to salvation is His call to service.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Tomorrow is Step Nine. (2) Trish has three years Monday. (3) If the only tool you have is a hammer, everything becomes a nail.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike and Doris
