My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning, it is cold (relatively) this morning - 52!  Up early this morning - Doris woke me up and said my alarm was going off.  I had moved to my recliner in the living room because of some heartburn.  Sleep well in the chair, evidently too well.  I think she got up to turn up the heat anyway.

Day 2173 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember when we we become willing for God to remove all our defects of character, and then ask Him to do that, He more often than not uses our effort to do that.

Yesterday was a good day.  A really good birthday.  A good start to my next thirty years.  Alicia sent a card and gift card to Longhorn so we went to dinner there last night.  And we always have a birthday luncheon at work.  Cooleys got there Caddy and are happy with it.  I have not seen it yet.

Doris's brother and sister are settled in at New Port Richey - but I do not think anyone is real happy about the weather or the accommodation.  They should have come here - but they wanted to be on the west coast.  We may or may not see them.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  I am getting some help to get caught up - a little, but that is all I need.  Gym this afternoon.  And then maybe get started on what I had planned to get started on yesterday, maybe.

Tomorrow is a typical Wednesday.  I have been thinking about going to the mens discipleship class at 6:00.  I am just thinking about it - waiting for a personal invitation!  My plan for tomorrow is to be ready!

Going out to dinner with the Cooley's Friday for my birthday.

'TIL THE STORM PASSES OVER!

Psalm 61:2 - From the ends of the earth will I cry unto lthee, when my heart is overwhelmed:  Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Proverbs 12:25 - Heaviness in the heart of man makes it stoop: but a good word makes it glad.

Leaning on the Word in Sixeen - (Reading Genesis 34-36)

Hope for Each Day (with Billy Graham) - "All for Jesus"  We are in HIm who lis true, in His Son Jesus Christ. (I John 5:20)  What would Jesus do - what did Jesus do?

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Ed and Andy are back  (2) God's plans are far better than my wildest dreams.  (3) Acceptance make us able to be human, not perfect.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike and Doris
