Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Cool, some clouds, dry - a beautiful spring morning in South Florida.  Slept well, up early, chores done - enjoying a quiet, peaceful morning.  But it is Monday!

Day 1440 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.   Today, I will aim for perfection, but  be happy just to hit the target.  The main thing is to not shoot myself in the foot!

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Sure to be a mess today, but I expect it and I 'cando' whatever is left to do.  Boys will be here sometime this morning.  Hope to get to the gym after work.  Will take the boys for a walk through "the forest" when I get home.

Yesterday was a good day.  We really had a pleasant day at home with the Cooleys and Alicia and Kara.  Nice dinner and pleasant conversation.  And it was a great Easter Sunday Service at church too.

Tomorrow is Tuesday - I wonder, but will not worry!

This week is the Cooley's last week - we take them to PBIA early Friday morning.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 104:24 - O Lord, how manifold are thy works!  In wisdom hast thou make them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

Proverbs 21:21 - He that follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honour.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - I Kings 1 - 2:25  As we grow older, all of us want to remain useful; but increasing age continues to diminish our strength and narrow our options.  But spiritual insight can grow even stronger.  Spiritual alertness is maintained as we continue to take in and share God's Word with others.

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Staying Cheerful in an Evil World"  (Read John 16:33)  From Genesis to Revelation, here is the central message:  God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of God, this Triune God is in control of all things, period!

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Gratitude to God for His grace makes me humble.  (2) Fear blocks, Faith breaks free!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"In each Prayer to the Father I must be able to say that I know of no one whom I do not heartily love."
