Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up a little later this morning - did not sleep all that well last night.  But well enough - feel rested and nothing hurts, very much.  Just thinking about what a great job my feet do!  It is going to be a hot one today.  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 1447 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember what matters, matters; and what does not matter, does not matter.  I need wisdom to know what does and what does not!

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Teresa is off this week - which means we will be short handed in the back room.  Boys will be here some time this morning.  Still thinking about how to get the back room door I stalled to close - may have to start all over.

Yesterday was a good day.  Good day at church and quiet day at home.  Rested and watched the Cubs finally win one.

Tomorrow is Tuesday - Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 139:15 - My substance was not hid from thee, when I was make in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Proverbs 28:23 - He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favor than he that flattereth with the tongue.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - I Kings 16-18  Elijah illustrates how the power of God is released when we pray and are obedient to His Word.  We are to pray always with ... all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians  6:18).

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "His Way"  (Read Deuteronomy 8:18)  But it is God who gives us the ability to do things, even to gain wealth; and we must remember that what we do is only successful when we do it - - His Way.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)  ...the rest of my life, today!  (2) With His leadership come a helping  hand.  (3) ...we learn humility and take responsibility.  (4) Don't 'fish' for compliments - you will just lose your bait.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
