Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Monday, May 12, 2014

Good morning.  It is a beautiful morning.  A great start for an other Monday morning.  Boys will be here later this morning - we are not ready, but it is OK, we never are!

Day 1466 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today I will remember resentments result in running from life and not facing it and living happy, joyous, free!

Today is MMM and work at the family store.  Boys will be here today - just or the day I think.  will go to the gym after work.  Maybe do 'something' when I get home - really need to to some timing on the fence rows and still haven't finished the back door.

Yesterday was a good day.  The boys went to church with us and went to Children's Church for the first time.  They said they liked it and would go back, maybe.  Took them  home after church.  They took the Mothers Day flowers and cards Doris helped them make.  Kelli and Beth were both surprised and happy.  We were exhausted!

Tomorrow is Tuesday - will  try to find 'something' to do!

Friday we plan to take the little boys to Lion Country Safari.  It is my long  weekend.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 60:11,12 - Give us help from trouble:  for vain is the help of man.  Through God we shall do valiantly:  for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Proverbs 12:25 - Heaviness in the heart of man makes it stoop:  but a good word makes it glad.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - I Chronicles 3 - 5

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "The Source of Sin"  (Read James 2:14)  To avoid sin, avoid temptation.  To avoid temptation, meditate on that which is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, virtuous, and of good report (Philippians 4:8,9)

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)   Congratulation, John, on 6 months!  (2) Faith is not feeling, but enable me to feel - safe and protected.  (3) You can not wish the past away; and you will not live long enough to out live it.  Thank God for it and do not relive it!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
