Good morning, I'm back! Finally got back on line - it has been a week and I figured out that IE was not working on this computer but everything else was. So I am now using Google Chrome as my default browser. Seems to be working better and faster. Still am in the dark as to why but just glad I am back online. Though I was using MS Word so I was not silent, and may go back to it, or to Wordpress - They are sometimes easier to use and friendlier.
It is a beautiful morning, warmer, more humid, clear, and quiet - I love the quiet.
Day 1462 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I celebrate 4 years of sobriety one day at a time. Can not help but think about the last four years - Lost so much, gained so much! I can never regain what I have lost, but never want to lose what I have gained!
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. We will have the boys this morning, and until Saturday evening, maybe Sunday afternoon. We are picking up Zachery tomorrow evening to spend the weekend here too. And it is my Saturday to work. Got to get to the gym today - may not be able to go Friday or Saturday.
Yesterday was a good day. Could have been a better day at work - a lot of staff tension - trying not to be a part of it. Did my job and was filled in or others who did not! Alicia was over to see Doris, she was gone when I got home. A good evening at church - but so hard to get any one to talk to me. I guess everyone knows what I think, and just do not want to hear me express them.
Tomorrow is Friday - picking up Zachery for the weekend. after work. An hour up there and an hour back and will probably have to stop to eat too! It is expensive to have the boys - guess I will keep working a while longer!
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 40:1,2 - I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit. out of the miry clay, ans set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
Proverbs 8:33-35 - Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me. watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - II Kings 18-20 We learn from Hezekiah that people will be blessed and prayers will be answered, when the Word of God is obeyed. Religion is the greatest opposition to Faith!
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Trials and Obedience" (Read Psalm 119:67) If you are hurting, for any reason, focus on obedience in order to realize God's purpose and blessing. None of us can come to the highest maturity without enduring the lowest trials.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Four years today - one day at a time! (2) God can work through you better when you are not hurrying. Go very slowly, very quietly, from one duty to the next, taking time to rest and pray between. Do not be too busy! Take everything in order!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"Faith is not a pathetic sentiment, but robust, vigorous confidence built on the fact that God is Holy Love.
