Good morning. Up early, slept well!  It is a beautiful morning - after an evening and night of significant, and needed, rain. Upper 80s today with clear skies this morning and a chance of afternoon showers - a normal summer day in south Florida.

Day 1498 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today I will remember to be wise and compassionate - at least that is my prayer for me.  My prayer for others is that they will be understanding and forgiving when I am not all that wise and compassionate.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  I have gotten a lot done this week - did not have to to anyone else's job.  Just kept busy, kept moving, and kept out of other people's business. Going to the gym again today after work - four days in a row, and I am feeling it!   We get the boys this afternoon and will have them all weekend.  They are moving in two weeks so I will do all I can with them until then.

Yesterday was a good day.  Worked, went to the gym, went to Publix with Doris, and it started raining just as we got home.  We forgot our Publix Fried Chicken, just did not make it on to the belt, so I had egg rolls that Kara made for supper.  They were good, but they were not fried chicken!

Tomorrow is Saturday - just another work day this week.  But I have next Friday off - a three day weekend.  Hope to take the boys to LCS if we can afford it - want to do something special for them before they move to GA.

I have had Haiti on my mind all week - praying earnestly for the Churches at Leogone and Dugay - and the young men ministering there.  They inspired me so much when I we were there.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 61:3 - For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.

Proverbs 13:11 - Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:  but he that gathered by labor shall increase.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) -  Esther 4-7

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "The Armor of Righteousness"  (Read Ephesians 6:14)  In justification we are not only told that Christ has paid the debt of our sins, we receive Christ's righteousness!  "The double cure - saved from wrath and made me pure."

MMM - just some thoughts:  Understanding the havoc I created and trying to repair the destruction, will be a lifelong endeavor.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
