Good morning. Up later this morning, no boys, quiet, too quiet. I miss them already. It is a beautiful morning - but ... nothing to look forward to but a lot of work - in and around the house
and yard. Going to be a long hard weekend.
Day 1512 - Living "My Next Thirty Year" one day at a time. Today, I will remember not to make something out of nothing. Only God can do that - and I am not God!
Today is a slow start to a busy day. Work at the Family Store and maybe go to the gym before going home. I have not been to the gym in a week - just to busy with the boys. Maybe we will go out to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Jeff and Kelli are leaving this morning for Georgia - a truck full of "stuff", two cars, six kids, three dogs. I would have left the three dogs and half of the stuff (and maybe a couple of the kids - just joking).
Yesterday was a good day. A long day but got-r-done! We finally got home about 9:00. Had a disagreement with Rosa - created a problem where one did not exist - could have been more a part of the solution. Just discouraged that no one appreciates my knowledge or experience or effort. Just tired of picking up after everyone and cleaning up their messes. Where is the net gain when one person makes their job easier by making my job harder. Lets quit swatting at fly and fix the screen door!
Tomorrow is the day I get everything done that I put off till the weekend! Got to mow the yard and clean out the cars. Then I want to set up the CPU I got from Jeff (that I gave him a year ago and he never used). Hopefully it will solve the problems I have been having with my old computer. I would like to get to the gym again - but may opt for the beach (or the couch).
GUIDELINES AND GUARDRAILS
Psalm 131:1 - Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
Proverbs 27:3 - A stone is heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fool's wrath is heavier than them both.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible onc10e more in 1 - 4) - Psalm 10 - 17
Turning Points ( with David Jeremiah) - "Always Praying" (Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Ephesians 6:18a) "I live in the spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk about, when I lie down and when I rise up. and the answers are always coming." - George Meuller
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) LBB - Take a blessing with you - be a transmitter of God's blessings. (2) RFX - I fought conformity...but I learned I learned from the pain of my belligerence.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
