Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart

Good morning.  Went to bed late last night - still awake at 4:30, up at 5:30.  Slept well, feel good, but a little groggy.  Time to make the coffee, do the chores and get the day started.  Cleared my desk last night and set up the CPU I got from Jeff.  If  he needs it back I will give it back but they all have smart phones, tablets, and laptops - I do not want to be that tied to the technology.  God is the only one that I need to be in constant contact with - prayer is my browser and it never fails.

Day 1513 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that the coincidences of my life are little miracles - God acting annonomously on my behalf.

Today is MMM and a whole lot of work - last week was all about Jeff and his family an move to Georgia.  Got to catchup, and cleanup today.  Mowing is at the top of the list, then cleaning out the cars.  Doris is going shopping for Marilyn and will probably want me to go too.  Hope to be able to get to the gym sometime today too.  I need to stop at the Family Store too - Doris want to look at a couple of side tables that match our coffee table.

Yesterday was a good day.  Helped  get the 'Christmas in July' ready - Pat did a good job, as usual and we got the Lamp area staightened up too.  Went to the gym - had a tough time getting it all in - but did, an more!  We went to CB for dinner - had the campfire chicken, but should have stuck with the fish.  Worked on clearing my desk and setting up the computer for my use.  Watched "Day after Tomorrow" and went to be late.  Last Friday we watched 2012 -  Friday disaster movies are becoming a routine for us!

Tomorrow is Church and rest.  Maybe go to the beach if the weather is right.  Maybe just stay home and recreate with the hedge trimmers and and rake.

GUIDELINES AND GUARDRAILS

Psalm 136:26 - O give thanks unto the God of heaven:  for his mercy endureth for ever.

Proverbs 28:14 - Happy is the man that feareth always:  but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Psalm 18 - 22

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Miracles are expressions of God's grace.  (2) The softer, easier way always leads in the wrong direction!  (3) My first thought is usually the wrong thought.  (4) God is with us in the gutter and in the glitter.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
