My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up late this morning - did not set the alarm.  Went to bed later last night and just am slow in getting started this morning.  Must have rained a little last night.  Hot, humid, but only the normal slight chance of rain today.  It is a beautiful morning - for a Monday morning!

Day 1508 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember not to assume that I am always right about everything.  Most of the time, but not always!

Today is a Meet and Greet for the new Salvation Army Corp officers, the Kims, at the Headquarters at 10:00.  It will be interesting.  A full day of just doing the next right thing!  Doris is taking Zachery home this morning and going shopping with Austin.  Austin may spend some time with Kara's Zack today too.  I am going to the gym and or maybe just come home and mow the yard.

Yesterday was a good day of visiting with all the grand kids.  Enjoyed the day but just had to get out of the way at times.  Took all the boys for a walk through the forest and around the neighborhood.  Kelli, the two little boys, and the girls went home about 5:00.  It was a good day - got a great picture of us with all of Jeff's kids.

Tomorrow I will try to finish what I started today and to get things ready for Wednesday.  Jeff is loading up Wednesday or Thursday and we will help all we can.  We have to get all their stuff that we have here that they want to take.  I have to take down the boys' bed so they can take it with them.

I do not care that they go but will really miss the little boys.  They have been "our purpose" for  the last three years.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 111:7 - The works of His hands are verity judgment; all His commandments are sure.

Proverbs 23:21 - For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Job 34 - 37

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Upward Thinking"  (And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."  Luke 23:43)  When we 'see' by faith the invisible things of Heaven, it  has an uplifting power, it has an attracting power, it takes us above the earth, out of the temporal, and  into the presence of God!

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) LBB -  Sometimes, "Intelligent Faith" is just not being foolish!  (But, then again, sometimes it IS doing what seems foolish to an unbeliever and the unbelieving!)  (2)
RFX -  I do not get to decide How or When - I just declare that I am ready!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
