Good morning, I slept late this morning, but was still up by 6:15. This cold has got me down but not out. Got to keep going, but resting when I can. I feel OK, just weak and dealing with annoying symptoms.
Day 1487 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember to see the virtues in others as much as I see their faults. I just don't want to make it any harder than it is for
them or me. It is tough being me, but I could not handle being any one else.
Today is back to work at the Family Store - I wonder who is going to be out today? It will not matter, I will just do my job, and anything else anyone ask me to do. Hopefully, I will do it with a good attitude and a smile - that would be a surprise to everyone, including me!
Yesterday was a good day. The boys were really good in church - surprised us both! After church the boys and I napped thru Jaws I, II. I just did not feel like playing and they understood and did not fuss at all. Doris took them home about 6:00. I missed them immediately!
Tomorrow I hope I feel a lot better - so much work to do, and no one but me to do it. Have an errand to do for the Cooleys in the evening - representing them at a rental showing.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 6:9 - The Lord has heard my request; the Lord will receive my prayer. (vs 1,2)
Proverbs 2:6 - For the Lord gives wisdom: out of his word comes knowledge and understanding.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Ezra 3-5 Our grief over
past losses should not blur our vision of the great opportunities of the present and the future!
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "The First Speeding Ticket" (Read Psalm 31:15) His method is sublime, His heart profoundly kind; God never is before His time, and never behind.
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) LBB - When we see the power of God's grace in others, you recognize it in ourselves also. (2) RFX - When I speak of this journey, I share my experience, strength, and hope with others.
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
