My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning, it is the 3rd already!  Cloudy and breezy this morning, but warm and dry.  It is a beautiful day.  Up early, slept well - not really well, but well enough with the cold I have.  It is getting better, or I am just coping with it better.

Day 1488 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that everything changes - and that is one thing that does not change.  I cannot stop it!

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  We were two people short yesterday - I should have stayed home myself.  Too sick to go to the gym today and want to be with the boys anyway.  This evening I have to run an errand for Cooleys - maybe take the boys to their pool.

Yesterday was a good day.   Suffered through it

Kelli brought the boys down about 7:00.  She broke our hearts when she told us that  they are moving to Georgia on the 15th.  I cannot imagine life without the little boys!  But we have never been a part of their plans - except when they needed us.  We need the boys now more than ever in our lives.  Alicia and Kara and Zack are moving to Ohio in October - then we will be alone in Florida.  It is going to be a tough summer for us!  I do not know what we are going to do?  But things change, everything changes.

Jeff is picking up the boys on Thursday, I think.   I need to talk to him - to find out from him what is going on.

Tomorrow begins with A & E and ends with Bible study at Church.  A lot in between!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 11:1,7 - In the Lord put I my trust:  how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright

Proverbs 3:3,4 - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:  bind them upon the table of thine heart:  so shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Ezra 6,7  Ezra is an example of how God will use anyone who will take His Word seriously.

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "In Paradise by Sundown"  (Read II Corinthians 5:7)  Distresses below can direct our attention to things above.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) HOP- I should focus on "what is" rather than "what if."  (2)  There is no fear in faith!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"Our prayers must not be a vague appeal to His mercy,
 an infinite cry for blessing,
but the distinct expression of definite need.
