My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Sunday, July 6, 2014

Good morning.  Up late this morning, was up earlier but went back to sleep.  Chores all done, having coffee and and muffin.  Will get ready for church in a little bit.  I will make a decision about church today.

Day 1520 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember  to "Wait on the Lord:  be of good courage, and He shall strengthen my heart:  wait on the Lord" - until I catch up!

Today is church.  And we will do some "getting ready" for Kelly and the kids tomorrow afternoon (or early, or late, evening).  Really looking forward to seeing them all.

Yesterday was a good day.  Went to the gym, walked the flea market, and got the mowing done.  Doris went to the fruit market - we  had fresh tomatoes and asparagus with our grilled chicken breast for dinner.

Tomorrow is Monday - back to work, a long work week for me this week.  But the grand kids will be here - YooHoo!!!  They will be here just overnight (maybe).

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  the Lord is the strength of my life;  of whom shall I be afraid?

Proverbs 6:23 - For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life;

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Psalms 67 - 71

My Note on "THE SUNDAY SERMON"

A good service this morning.  Especially enjoyed the Framptons singing "At Calvary."  Just miss so many of the 'old' faces.  Why would those who have been here thru it all just leave?  Is there no room for differences in the Body.  If it is important to me, why is in not important to the 'leadership' of the church.    Am I that wrong, am I that out of touch, is the faith and practice that I have been living for 55 years no longer valid or relevant?  Is Fundamentalism dead, is Evangelism no longer needed, is Prayer a pretence, is Revival to old fashion?  Is there no room for a sinner saved by grace?

FAITH THAT WORKS
An Exposition of the Epistle of James"
(James 2:12,13)

We Will All Be Judged!

There are three groups of people in the our morning crowd:

(1) Believers - in various stages of maturity.
(2) Unbelievers - in various stages of searching.
(3) False believers - in various stages of deceptions.

Believers are judged in the courtroom of Mercy!
(Mercy Without Judgement!)

Unbelievers are judged in the courtroom of Justice!
(Judgement Without Mercy!)

 I.  The Since Judgment (of the believer) - v12
Since we have believed - we are judged according to the
law of liberty. I Cor. 4:1-5, Rom. 14:8-12, II Cor 5:6-10

II.  The Sorry Judgment (of the unbeliever) - v13
      I never knew you - Matt 7:23
He that believeth not - John 3:36

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds
may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
(John 3:21)

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
