Tuesday, July 1, 2014

Good morning.  Happy July!  Starting the month with the TS 1 off our coast - expecting some wet weather today but will move north by tomorrow.  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 1516 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that, as I begin the second half of 2014, it is only the Grace of God that can turn a hopeless end into endless hope.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  Spending all of my time at the store today working on books.  I will go back to the gym after work.  Weather will be wet so I will not get anything done outside but will help Doris get the guest boys bedroom cleaned and set back up.  That will be enough.

Yesterday was a good day.  Got my feelings hurt at work - that is not hard to do - but they are only feelings.  I think I handled it ok, not well, but ok.  Alicia brought Chloe and Peanut over for us to care for until the  10th - The are leaving this morning for a vacation - going to check out Cleveland in preparation for their possible move there in October.  Got rid of two boys and got two dogs - not a good trade.  But we will take good care of them.

Tomorrow is Wednesday.  Short week at work because of the Holiday.  May paycheck will be short too.  It is not fair, but it is what it is.   But it still is not fair!!!  Why should full-time people get paid for doing nothing, and part-time people not get paid for doing nothing?  It is not fair, not right,  immoral, and unscriptural.  I just cannot let it go!!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 2:10,11 - Be wise now therefore, O ye kings:  be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Proverbs 1:32 - For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Psalm36 - 39

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah)  "The Perfect Ending"  (Matthew 1:21 - She will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.)  The moment someone chooses to trust in Jesus Christ, his sins are wiped away, and he is adopted into God's family.  That individual is set apart as a child of God, with a sacred purpose (Charles Stanley).

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) Open on the 4th!  (2) Remain clam in the chaos.  (3) When we do the best we an, we are doing all that God expects of us!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"Let"s begin, again!"
