Good morning. Up early, slept just ok, but feel good, a little stiff from the gym yesterday. Dew and a little fog this morning - really humid. But a beautiful morning! Just back from A & E with AJ, chores done, all is well in my world - but it is such a small world.
Day 1529 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember to pray for a more receptive attitude; for a little more patience; a little less haste and more humility in my judgements. God's will in God's time!
Today is A&E @ McD in Palm City with AJ and work at the FS. Hope to have a good day at work - I guess it is all up to me. Will try to got to the gym again, but have church tonight too. This morning I was at 164.9 (on my way to 155), BP was 112/72.
Yesterday was a good day. Got a lot done at work and went to the gym. That is about it! Walked around banging into the walls - really got to get motivated to do more in the evening. But just so tired most of the time. Can't see how doing more would be less tiring then doing nothing, but I think that is the way it works.
Tomorrow is the last day of work for this week - have Friday off. I will spend the day working in the yard - trimming and weeding, maybe mowing so that I can have Saturday free to ... do something else.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 77:7-9 - Will the Lord cast off for ever. and will he be favourable no more? Is is mercy clean gone for ever, doth his promise fail for evermore? Hath God forgotten to be gracious, hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies?
Proverbs 16:3 - Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Psalms 120 - 131
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Always Faithful" (And [Abraham] believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. - Genesis 15:6) If you are a follower of Christ, Let Semper Fidelis by your watchword today and every day. Always Faithful!
A & E @ McD - AJ and I - Reported on my meeting with Pastor. There is always "the rest of the story!"
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
