Good morning!  Up early, slept well, feel good, ready to conquer the day.  Well, maybe?  It is a beautiful morning.

Day 1566 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to begin my prayer with and end it with, "Thy will be done!"  When I seek His will first, by the time I get to what I want, well, most of the time I do not get that far.

Today Doris and Jean are leaving early to meet Donnie and Kim in Sarasota.  An long drive for coconut shrimp and seashells - but, it is what they want.  I am working and will get the yard mowed this afternoon after work.  May go to the gym too - am doing extra and feeling good.  Doris will be home late this evening.  Donnie, Kim, and Jean are leaving in the morning from Donnie"s.  It has been a good week.

Yesterday was a good day.  Worked and went to the gym.  Finally got the old TV out to the road to be picked up.  It was no simple task, but not as hard as I had imagined either.  Got one of the sprinkler heads replaced too - the easy one.  Read some Spurgeon and from James 3 and went to bed.

Tomorrow is Saturday.  I have an idea of what I want to do - but ... will end up doing less than I had planned and more of what I had not planned.  That is my plan!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 108:12 - Give us help from trouble:  for vain is the help of man.

Proverbs 22:28 - Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Jeremiah 29 - 31

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "The Best Laid Schemes"  ( A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. - Proverbs 16:9 )  God's plan for our lives is good, and His plans for us never go awry.  This confidence has given great courage to the followers of Jesus of all times.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) LBB - I pray that I may make good use of my mistakes and failures.  (2) RFX - By God's grace I have admitted my powerlessness over people places and things.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
