Good morning. Up early but getting around slowly. It is a little overcast this morning but that will burn off when the sun comes up. It has been hot and humid all week (all summer). Just the way it is supposed to be in South Florida! But watching the tropics - a storm may be on its way.
Day 1565 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that I cannot look back and move forward. Living is like driving, we glance into the rearview mirror, but keep our eyes high and centered on what is ahead. (Ephesians 5:15)
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. Doris and Jean will make their last trip to the Beach this morning. Tried to talk them into getting up early enough to go see the sunrise, but, that is not going to happen. Maybe I should have myself! Gym after work - still sore from Tuesday - but that is good. I will put off mowing until Friday night, or probably Saturday morning. Maybe.
Yesterday was a good day. Saw the sunrise, saw the sunset, worked in between.
Tomorrow Doris and Jean are going with Donnie and Kim to Sarasota. Jean will stay the night with Donnie and Kim - they are leaving for Indiana early Saturday morning.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 103:11,12 - For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Proverbs 21:21 - He that follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honour.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Jeremiah 26 - 28
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Then God said, No" ( And Abraham said to God, "Oh, that Ishmael might life before you!" Then God said: "No." - Genesis 17:18,19 ) If God says no, there is a good reason!
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) It is only earthly desires that bind our spirit. (2) Broken wings heal - we can soar again!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
