Good Sunday Morning! A Beautiful Morning!
Day 1554 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember we are never separated from the love of God. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor thing present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38,39
Today is Church - won't be a full house - many are gone to Bryan and Kera's wedding. And the rest of us know that Phillip will not be there - so, it would be a good time for some to just not go. I thought about it.
Yesterday was a good day. Had a good day at work, but really was tired when I got home. Alicia had left the dogs and my dinner. Talked to Doris, everything is being taken care of well by the family. The funeral is Monday and they will start for Florida on Wednesday. Watched the Cubs lose to the Rays, watched some little league game, and went to bed.
Tomorrow is back to work - but a short week - I have Friday off. Got to really get busy getting things ready for Doris and Jean. If I do not get the yard mowed today, I will definitely have to do it tomorrow - can't wait any longer.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 48:1,14 - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of His holiness. For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.
Proverbs 10:12 - Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers all sin.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Isaiah 47 - 51
My Notes on "THE SUNDAY SERMON"
Pastor Whitney preached this morning from Psalm 73. It was a good service.

"God is Good...But as for Me!"
(Psalm 73 1-28)
I. Tempting Sight, vs 3-12
A. I was envious.
B. I saw prosperity.
C. But...I also saw the pride, violence, oppression
of the ungodly.
II. Tempted State, vs 13-16
A. When I thought how to understand,
B. It was too painful, until...
III. Truthful Serenity, vs 17-28
A. I went into the Sanctuary.
B. Then, I understood.
O Holy Spirit, revival comes from Thee;
Send a revival, start the work in me.
Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need;
For blessing now, O Lord, I humbly plead.
