Good morning, up late and moving slowly. But I do not have to be anywhere or do anything this morning. It is a beautiful morning, but cloudy and wet. My work will be indoors today.
Day 1547 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Just thinking about August 3, 2044 - and August 3, 1984 - I do not think things will be much different! People, places, and programs may change, but mission, message, and motives will be much the same.
Today is Church, and watching it rain. Hope to get some house work done today - got to wash the dishes!
Yesterday was a good day. Got the yard mowed. Talked to Doris - her mom is doing better. Alicia brought over chicken and potato salad for my dinner. She is moving to Ohio the week of October 20th - I will take that week off to help.
Tomorrow I have jury duty, maybe - have to call tonight.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 13:5 - But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Proverbs 3:11,12 - My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord: neither be weary of His correction: for whom the Lord loveth He correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delights.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Isaiah 10 - 14

FAITH THAT WORKS
"An Exposition of the Epistle of James"
(James 3:1-5)
"Teachers and the Tongue!"
(Carpenters use a hammer, Mechanics use a wrench, Surgeons use a knife, Teachers use the tongue!)
I. Teachers, vs1,2
A. Are held to a stricter judgement.
B. Are sure to stumble in many things.
II. Tongues, vs3-5
A. Can lead us to obey - the horse's bit
B. Can direct us in the right direction - the ships rudder
C. Can inspire us to great accomplishments - the little member
Out of the tomb He came with grace and majesty;
He is alive, He is alive!
God loves us so - see here His hand, His feet, His side.
Yes, we know HE IS ALIVE!
OUR GOD REIGNS! OUR GOD REIGNS!
