Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up early, getting ready for a long day of waiting.  Dry but cloudy.  Chores all done.

Day 1548 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that judges need to be more compassionate, lawyers need to be more honest, and witnesses need to be more truthful.  And I need to be more patient.

Today I have to report for jury duty.

Yesterday was a good day.  Finished off the chicken and potato salad for lunch.  Took a drive out to the beach - for the first time in weeks.  It is still there.  A good day at church.

Tomorrow depends on what happens at the court house today!

Got to get busy getting ready for Doris and company - they still may be headed this way next Monday.  And I have to work this Saturday.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 18:30,31 - As for God, His way is perfect:  the word of the Lord is tried:  He is a buckler to all those that trust him.  For who is God save the Lord?  Or who is a rock save our God?  It is God that girds me with strength, and makes my way perfect.

Proverbs 4:7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:  and with all your getting get understanding.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1-4) - Isaiah 15 - 21

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "No 'Buts' About It"  (Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."  Luke 22:34)  The next time you are called on to extend the grace of forgiveness, make sure it is unconditional - that there are no "buts" about it!  Everyone says forgiveness  is a lovely idea until he has something to forgive!

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) LBB - I need to learn to "think" differently.  (2) RFX - I ask God to grant me the willingness to do His will!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"The main thing about Christianity is not the work we do, but the relationship we maintain and the atmosphere produced by that relationship.
