My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Woke up to rain again this morning at 4:00.  Getting a good drink before the 'dry' season begins.  I am not complaining - ten years ago we were dealing with Jeanne and a lot more rain than this.

Day 1601 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to do all I can, and can the rest.  If it has to be done and I can, I will; and if I cannot, someone will.  If it can wait, I will wait until it has to be done.  Or untill I get tired of the complaints that it needs to be done.  And I could go on, but i will not.

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  I will continue working on books today and get all done that I can.  I am really upset that Teresa got involved - It was not her business! But as usual, I have to clean up the mess and make it work.  But, I can do that!  Gym, to relax and work off some frustration, afterwork.  I doubt that I will get my mowing done today.  Maybe, go out to CB for Friday fish.

Yesterday was a good day.  I let Rosa and Teresa know I was not happy about things then got busy doing what I was told to do.  Went to the Memorial service at Church for Dr. Kim Hoover - it was a good service.  Talked to Roy and saw Garret Dick there too - and others that I had not seen in a while.

Tomorrow is Saturday.  Sure hope it is dry.  Need some time to relax and but...got to get the yard mowed and a hundred other things. (Reminding my self of what I want to remember today!)

Boys will be here in two weeks.  Alicia is moving in three weeks.  Cooleys will be here sometime in October.  A lot of birthdays in October.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 129: 1,2 - Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.  For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Proverbs  26:17 - He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Nahum 1 - Habakkuk 3

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Yesterday's Fights / Today's Faith"  (Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defiled the armies of the living God. - I Samuel 17:36)  Our Lord's past performances is an ever-present comfort during times of distress.  The same God who delivered you yesterday will deliver you today and tomorrow!

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1)  ... though frequent, is by no means the rule.  (2) The back row is like the shoe department of a store - there you will find the loafer, sneakers, and slipper.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
