Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Woke up early this morning to pouring rain - did not last long.  Started thinking about yesterday and how I could make today better.

Day 1600 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to help more than I hurt; to love more that I loath; and to give more than I get!

Today is MMM and work at the Family Store.  If the weather is dry, I will try to get some mowing done when I get home from the gym.  Not likely, but Doris has a "couple" of other things for me to do.

Yesterday was a good day.  At least I did not...murder anyone.  I really need a restful vacation, a nice cruise would do the trick.  I just need to get me out of the way and out of sight.

Tomorrow is Friday.  The end is near - just want to finish well!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 124:7,8 - Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowler:  the snare is broken, and we are escaped.  Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Proverbs 25:27,28 - It is not good to eat much honey:  so for men to search their own glory is not glory.  He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Micah 1 - 7

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "The Everlasting Arms"  (The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlastings arms. - Deut. 33:27)  If you are in a storm today, find a precious promise, fix your thoughts upon it, and discover afresh that your eternal God is your refuge.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) I pray that I may be conscious of God's support today.  (2)  The colors of the school of hard knocks are black and blue!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
