My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Woke up at 4:30 - waited for the alarm.  No plans, no problems, yet!  Just going to keep busy doing and look back at the end of the day and see what was done.  A lot depends on the weather, rain will keep me inside, sun will draw me outside.  Total cloud cover right now.  It is a beautiful morning, somewhere!

Day 1595 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember to shine the light and sound the trumpet (Judges7:20)!  To obey God and leave observations and opinions to others.

Today is MMM and work around the house and yard.  I will go to the gym early and maybe go finish the mulching at Cooleys.  Again the rain will affect where and what I do today.  It all needs to be done.

Yesterday was a good day.  Went to breakfast with Doris to Chick-fil-a and then to Lowe's to get some mulch to finish the Cooley's project.  Spent the rest of the morning working on that project and then went to the gym.  Rained the rest of the day - well, was rainy anyway.  My printer would not work so I tried to fix it - could not - so through it away.  It is always something!

Tomorrow is Sunday - it will be a tough day - not sure how I am going to handle it.  I may just go to the beach and worship the 'Son' there?  I guess I could, as Peter did, just go back to fishing.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 99:9 - Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

Proverbs 20:1 - Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging:  and whosoever is deceived thereby is
not wise.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Hosea 7 - 14

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Building His Church"  (I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  Matthew 16:18)  I love the church of Jesus Christ with all my heart.  Despite all of its faults...it is still the most magnificent concept ever created.  It has been God's chosen instrument of blessing for two thousand years.

MMM - just some thoughts:  "My past is mine, my future is God's, my present is yours!"

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"The secret of a Christian is that the supernatural is made natural in him by the grace of God, and the experience of this works out in the practical details of life.
