Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up with the alarm.  I was up with heart burn a little after midnight - ate some really good chocolate Doris bought yesterday.  It was really sweet to the tongue but sour to the stomach.  Slept the rest of the night in my chair.

Even so, I was down another pound this morning!

Day 1594 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember that at the end of the day, it is what you have finished, not what you have started that brings satisfaction.  Today, I will 'git-r-done' - well,at least get it started!

Today is MMM and it is my Friday.   I and have one big plan and the rest will just happen.  I want to finish the work I started at the Cooleys.  I lot of other things on my mind to do, but...?

Yesterday was a good day.  Alicia and Kara came over and took Doris out.  They are trying to spend some time with her before they move to Ohio.  I cleaned out the Expo and checked the fluids on both the cars.

Tomorrow is Saturday, second day of my three-day weekend.  Haven't made any plans yet!  I wish things would get done just by thinking about them!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 94:22 - But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

Proverbs 19:20 - Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Hosea 1 - 6

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Facing the Hagrites"  (He heeded their prayer. because they put their trust in Him. - I Chronicles 5:20)  As long as we have unsolved problems, unfilled desires, and a mustard seed of faith, we have all we need for a vibrant prayer life.

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) October 10-12 - South Florida Area 15 (maybe should be 'area 51') at the Marriot.  (2) ...your share of joy and peace; satisfaction and success.  (3) Just do the next right thing and see how it works out!  (4) The only one I cannot trust is myself.  (5) We get to go there, but we do not get to live there.  (6) When accept situations as they are, not as I wish them to be, then I can begin to grow and have serenity and peace of kind.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

The way lies through Gethsemane, through the city gate, outside the camp.  At times, there are no paths to follow, only a voice saying, "follow me."
