Good morning. I went to bed early last night - but did some reading so it was not that early. I read a little from several different books while I am listening to WQCS (Public Radio). It is a quiet morning, and I am feeling a bit more peaceful than I have in a while. I guess that I have resigned myself to the fact that I am right and "they" are wrong and there is nothing I can do about that.
Day 1591 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time. Today, I will remember that God is not as interested in our public life as He is in our private life.
Today is MMM and work at the Family Store. I am thankful for my job - it enables us to live independent of government or family assistance - at least for now. Gym after work and if it is dry, I will have to mow the front yard. Hate to do it, glad I am still able to do it!
Yesterday was a good day. I should have got some work around the house and yard done - but I did not! Nothing 'had' to be done!
Tomorrow is Wednesday - a full and busy day. I like a routine that does not leave a lot of 'free' time to waste.
GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS
Psalm 79:13 - So we thy people and the sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will show forth thy praise to all generations.
Proverbs 16:33 - The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.
Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Daniel 4 - 6
Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "Sleep Well" (When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. - Psalm 63:6) Give your mind and body the rest it needs by sleeping peacefully in the knowledge that God is at work in you for His own good pleasure (Phil 2:13).
MMM - just some thoughts: (1) Try not to make a mess - give others the opportunity to do good! (2) The 'noise' causes us to pay attention to what is being said. (3) Eternity is now!
Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike
