Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Up early, slept well, rested and ready for a busy day.  Greater chance of rain today but it is a beautiful morning.  I am more at peace with myself this morning - now just to maintain my serenity when I have to start dealing with everyone else!

Day 1592 - Living "My Next Thirty Years" one day at a time.  Just wondering what things will be like on May 7th, 2040 - I will be 92!  I might even have an iwatch by then!

Today is A & E and work at the Family Store.  It is Dollar Day at the store and we will be at least one man short so - I will have to do his work too.  That is just the way it works!  Gym after work and Bible Study at Church is evening.

Yesterday was a good day.  Got the yard mowed after I got home from work and the gym.  Still not happy about mowing it so high - seems like a waste of effort to me - but Doris likes it and that is what is important.

Tomorrow is Thursday - finishing my short week and getting ready for my long weekend.

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 84:11 - For the Lord God is a sun and shield:  the Lord will give grace and glory:  no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Proverbs 17:1 -Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than a house full of sacrifices with strife.

Bible Pathways (reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Daniel 7 - 9

Turning Points (with David Jeremiah) - "In Every Condition"  (Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; as your days, so shall your strength be. - Deuteronomy 33:25)  In His grace, God always desires our best, and asks us to trust Him.

A & E @ McD - Coffee with AJ at the PC McD.  Talked about truth.  Truth can be used as a sword in he had of a tyrant to kill, or can be used as a scalpel in the hand of a surgeon to save a life.

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"A man's disposition on the inside determines what he is tempted by on the outside.  God does not save us from temptation; He helps us through them."
