My Prayer For "My Next Thirty Years"

Heavenly Father, teach me to number my days that I may gain a Heart
of Wisdom and fulfill your purpose for my life today.

Good morning.  Sometime I don't even know what day or what year it is!  Anyway, I am up and ready for the day.  Rained a little last night just after I went to bed.  Cloudy this morning.  I am working today, so I am sure it will be a perfect day.

Day 1609 - Living "My Next Thirty Year" one day at a time.  Today, I will remember To "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (IThess. 5:16-18)  I will remember it, but... ?

Today is MMM and I am working all day today.  I am not sure who I am working with, but it will not matter.  It will be almost 5:00 when I get home - too late for the gym or anything else.

Yesterday was a good day.  Went to the gym after work and then we went to Ft Pierce to LJS for dinner and stopped by Hobby Lobby to get some white yarn.  Watched Last Man Standing and went to bed - upset and angry about the prospects of working the rest of my life.   I guess the key to learning to live where you work and working where you live!

Tomorrow is Church.  Maybe a "HAITI TEAM '14" meeting before the evening service, maybe?

Boys will be here next Saturday!!!

GUIDELINES & GUARDRAILS

Psalm 20:4 - May He grant you according to your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose.

Proverbs 4:12 - When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble.

Bible Pathways ( reading thru the Bible once more in 1 - 4) - Matthew 10, 11

Turning Points ( with David Jeremiah) - "Seasonal Changes - Priorities"  (And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. - John 17:3)  As the seasons change, ask whether your life is changing as well.  Is our life taking on more and more of a Christlike quality every day - becoming less temporal and ore eternal?

MMM - just some thoughts:  (1) It just takes time to calm down!  (2) I 'ask' God to prune me when it is time so I can grow fuller and stronger.  (3) But, sometimes it just feels like loss!

Saved by Grace . . . Living by Faith,
Mike

"There are times when we do know what God's purpose is; whether we will let the vision be turned into action depends on us, not upon God!"
